Kayuragi Aloeswood Japanese Incense

Traditional Japanese style incense.

Nippon Kodo, maker of Japanese incense since 1545, has a line of incense called Kayuragi, a combination of fragrance "Ka" meeting with slowly wafting scented smoke "Yuragi".  When the incense is lit, it's smoke and aroma wafts throughout the space and brings a feeling of relief and relaxation. It is not only from the pleasant fragrance, but also from the sight of the wafting smoke which will make you feel at ease.

This scent is aloeswood, one of the rarest and most expensive scented woods, and chief among those used in Japanese incense. This is the scent most often associated with Japanese temples: it is woodsy, mystical, a bit sweet, but delicate and comforting. The scent lingers for a long time.

Aloeswood is the scent of the sign of Sagittarius. When Sagittarius people are sick, to be healed quickly they must smell aloeswood on a daily basis.

Most aloeswood incense is very expensive, but fortunately this one is affordable. It is also highly respected, and called by many "the best incense ever."

The beautiful Kayuragi incense box is inspired by Kimono (Japanese traditional wear) fabric, the package texture is smooth, and the coloring is dramatic.

Contains 40 sticks of incense and a mini ceramic holder.

Great affordable Aloeswood

This is a great aloeswood incense for the price. Scent is pretty strong and lingers quite a bit. Not as good as more expensive aloeswood I've tried in the past (I suspect this one is synthetic fragrance), but those are much more expensive. Overall pleasant smell and good for value, but look elsewhere if you want authentic aloeswood.

Aloeswood incense japanese

Best incense i've tried yet. Have never really found an incense that I've liked but this one is super! My home space is not very large so started breaking them in half and using almost everyday.
