Traditional Japanese style incense.
Aloeswood, Sandalwood, and herbal medicines are used bountifully to create an elegant and tasteful fragrance.
The significant ingredient is aloeswood, one of the rarest and most expensive scented woods, and chief among those used in Japanese incense. This is the scent most often associated with Japanese temples: it is woodsy, mystical, a bit sweet, but delicate and comforting. The scent lingers for a long time.
The highly valued scented wood Jinkoh "Aloeswood" is used to make Jinkoh Juzan ("Aloeswood Fortune Mountain"). Old textbooks of Koh-Do ("the way of incense appreciation") noted Jinkoh as "graceful in nature, willowy in character, with a pinch of bitterness in mild taste." In Jinkoh Juzan, This is not a "bargain" or "budget" incense, but a quality one.

This is very enjoyable. There is something special about the fragrance. It is well worth the price.
The packaging is creative and inside was a note stating the company has been in business for over 400 years. It seems they have mastered the art of making incense. It just feels special to burn. It smells earthy yet feels light and it doesn’t create a lot of smoke. Although the size and quantity is small, I feel it is high quality and worth the expense.
